HantamNet is a privately held company founded in 1999, born out of the need for affordable broadband internet in the area. Today we provide the best combination of speed, service and cost of any ISP in our area.
We operate from Calvinia, which is situated in the picturesque Northern Cape Province of South Africa. With our high speed fiber line we provide internet connectivity to the towns and rural areas of Calvinia, Nieuwoudtville, Loeriesfontein, Brandvlei, Williston, Middelpos and Sutherland.
Our main servers make use of highly sophisticated Linux systems and are maintained by the same people that manage the servers of some of the biggest wireless ISP’s in South Africa. Our wireless infrastructure is undergoing a continuous upgrade program, being serviced by locally born technicians who have obtained knowledge working for some of the most advanced service providers in the country.
Our friendly admin staff are all people from the local community, who knows best how to provide our clients with the service they need.
